January Favorites

I may be a little late to the game, but my January Favorites for 2018 are here! Check out what I was loving last month.

                     To Eat

The Eagle : I absolutely love this place. I suggest getting the fried chicken sandwich with a side of spoon bread and mac n’ cheese. I am down with the hype… it’s the best fried chicken in Cincinnati.

Egg Salad : Gonna shoot a little self promo. Corey and I ate so much egg salad in January. It was like something we had been missing since we were kids. Be sure to check out my blog post to see how we make our favorite kind.

Kabuto : Save this restaurant for a date night or special occasion, well, or don’t. 😉 It is a bit more pricey, but it is the most fun hibachi ever! I always have a good time there. I would definitely recommend making a reservation because this place seems to always be packed!

                   To Wear

Gucci Guilty : If you like a more rich scent you will love this. It is so hard to describe a scent, but trust me, it is so good.

Fenty Stunna Lip Paint : Yes, I rocked a red lip a lot the month of January. Thanks Lauren! She gifted me this lip color for Christmas and I seriously cannot get enough of it. It’s the most perfect red, and it lasts all night.

No fashion favorites this month, sorry! I was sick for at least half of it, so really pajamas was all I rocked.

                  To Watch

Jumanji : I absolutely loved this movie. Let me say, I am a huge Dwayne Johnson fan, but Jack Black definitely stole the show. It was hilarious and kept me on my toes.

The Greatest Showman : So, this is a musical, but I would say even if you do not like musicals, you should go see this. It was a great movie with an even better message. Plus the music is fireeeeee.

Amazon Firestick : I love this thing. It has everything I ever want to watch on it. 😉 It’s as if I don’t even need cable tv anymore… cough cough Corey!

Bath & Body Works Wallflowers : These are all over my house! My favorite scent is Fresh Linen. They make the whole room smell amazing and last a good 30 days. I definitely recommend. If you have these, what’s your favorite scent?

Essential Oil Diffuser : Even Corey loves this. We diffuse oils all day long. Normally we use a mix of Eucalyptus and Tea Tree. It kind of gives us a spa like feel in our house. We have been dabbling in an orange oil, but I am not sure am ready for the fruit oils just yet. What oils do you like to diffuse?

                      Book

Fahrenheit 451 : A classic! I will be honest, we were supposed to read this in high school… and I didn’t. I probably spark noted it instead. However, there is a reason they teach this book in school. I highly highly recommend you check it out if you haven’t read it already.
