Let’s Solve a Murder… over dinner.

My Cincinnati Murder Mystery Dinner Experience

From Agatha Christie novels to the board game clue, and to my most favorite PC game… Carmen San Diego, I’ve read, seen, and played it all. Tell me we are up to solve a mystery and I will jump quicker than you can say murder.

My best friend and I decided we needed a fun Friday night out – instead of going out for drinks and dancing, we decided to do something a little different… & it was definitely a night to remember.

We were so pumped when we saw that Cincinnati Murder Mystery Company has an 80s themed dinner party at The Spaghetti Factory.

*runs to raid our mom’s closets*

We head out to The Spaghetti Factory, and it immediately feels like we are a part of this special experience. We walk into a room just a tad bit separated from the restaurant and are greeted by too many people to count!

As soon as you walk in – you are entering something like another world, and this time the world was living in the 80s!

We had multiple actors come and tell us how it worked, and once the show/dinner started we were immediately drawn into the story. This is not a show you just watch you guys, you are a part of it too!

The beginning was a little awkward as everyone tried to figure out what they were supposed to be doing and gauge how into it everyone else was going to get. But before long, we were flying around the room left and right and people were sneaking off into corners to bribe one another for information.

Our night ended with Spumoni and putting our heads together for a solid answer… who committed this murder? Every table submitted their answer, and we awaited the moment – who is the heartless soul who killed the beloved rock star manager.

Ps. I don’t remember all of the characters names, but let me tell you they were spot on 80s and hilarious.

When I say we were into it and I love a good mystery, I meant it. We solved the murder and our table was declared Detectives of the Night!

It was definitely a Friday night to remember. I highly recommend you relive your Scooby Doo, Agatha Christie, and Carmen San Diego dreams by joining The Murder Mystery Company for a night of fun.
