Keep Calm & Put Your Jammies On: Blogger Sleepover

Some would say sleepovers are just for children. Well to them I say, we don’t need that kind of negativity in our lives.

I had the opportunity to travel to Columbus, Ohio for the most amazing Blogger Sleepover at Le Meridien Columbus, The Joseph.ย My gal pal and partner in crime, Shelbie aka Ddotts, put together this whole thing, and WOW did she kill it. I’ll happily join the event planning committee if it means events like this all the time. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Day One:

Shelbie (@ddotts_)ย and I head up to Columbus and meet up with two of our fave ladies, Nikki (@sweetlycbus) and Jen (@girlbossdropout) at The Candle Lab. We made the most amazing smelling candles… as a matter of fact, I smell my Breakfast Candle burning right now.

The Candle Lab is great for events because you go in, pick your scents, create your candle and then can pick it up the next day! It is completely customizable and always so much fun to smell what everyone else created.

After The Candle Lab we headed over to The Joseph, which was only a few blocks down. I loved this part of Columbus, the local ladies referring to it as The Short North, because everything is in walking distance! It really is the perfect location for a hotel.

Once we arrived, the real fun began.

Food & Fun

We met up with the rest of our bloggin’ babes: Kelsea (@kelseagunner), Lindsey (@acityexplored), and Becka (@beckalyn32) for food and fun.

I probably ate my weight in food and sweets, and drank yummy drinks from Simple Times and Karate Cowboy.

While we were catching up, grubbing out and creating bomb content, The Blow Out Bar sent us over Gabriella (@gabriellaoster) to braid our hair. Yes, we literally got our hair braided at our sleepover, classic.

& yes, I am actually eating Ridiculously Good Salsa (named appropriately) while getting my hair braided. Gabby did her thing! I had no idea what I wanted, I gave her full reign on my head and she made me feel like a princess! The braids were so beautiful.

We then headed to the hotel spa to hang out, and catch up even more. We popped champagne, ate Mrs. Goodman’s cupcakes and took in the luxury of the spa.

After the spa, our epic girl’s night out began. We dolled up and headed for Soul at The Joseph, the amazing hotel bar. We had yummy appetizers, which included a cheese plate that Nikki and I completely destroyed, a champagne flight, specialty cocktails and delicious spicy margaritas.

What happened next, well… I will leave our girl’s night out for all of your imagination. JUST KNOW, it was epic.

Day Two:

We had an amazing Sunday with Just Fab! They decked us out in head to toe Just Fab outfits, and sent a party bus over to take us to their Pop Up Shop in DSW Polaris: A Fashion Wonderland.

Yes, you can go to select DSW’s and shop Just Fab! This place was absolutely paradise. I was surrounded by beautiful shoes, dressed in super cute clothes, and hanging with some of my favorite blogger babes. We all hosted an insta giveaway to bring our followers into the shop. We hid tickets around the Wonderland and those who found them won a free pair of shoes. Check out the most adorable winner below! He won those shoes for his mom ๐Ÿ™‚

We DID NOT stop there. Are you still with me? This was a jam-packed weekend, and we finished it off with a little nail love at The W Nail Bar, which just so happened to be in the DSW Polaris.

This was probably one of the most amazing weekends of my life! Shoutout to all of the companies who helped make this event a success.

I just busted out laughing at that cheese plate – we totally killed that. The image in my head is the two of us hovering around it so no one else can eat it ๐Ÿ™‚
